The big question, of course, is when our hardcover rewards will be printing. I don't have an answer to that just yet - in Onyx Path's most recent Monday Meeting blog, they've noted that they're currently quoting with printers to get a press time secured. Evidently, it's pretty busy out there and some places are saying that the wait is a year or more. The Onyx Path team is on it, though, and will jump through the logistical hoops to get it all sorted, but I don't yet have a schedule as to exactly when we can expect them. I'll continue to keep you updated monthly though.

This is the first version of Scoundrelsong to be released. James Huggins and the Exalted developers and editors have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
With that in mind, I'd like to introduce the ScoundrelsongFeedback Form!
Onyx Path will be launching a special ScoundrelsongFeedback Form, which you will be able to access here: https://forms.gle/WX6CLm5KNGmXMEbm9
This form isn't active quite yet - but will be soon!
They are aware of any Page XX notations - those are left in to replace for the final version once any changes you've suggested are made, so they can reference the correct page if any shifts in layout result.
Onyx Path will keep errata collection open for the next week. Please submit your feedback as soon as possible so the team can get on to finalizing this file - and working on our print version as well!
They won't be collecting errata from other spots, just this specific form.
After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!), they will prepare an updated final PDF version of the book and you will receive a notice from DrivethruFiction that you can re-download your file with the latest version.

Hello Exalted Essentials,
It's Exalted Update Day! As we do at the end of every month, I'm checking in with the latest status reports on our funded projects. A lot of movement on our tracking report this month, and I'm guessing we'll see a few Stretch Goal rewards distributed in September.
Let's dig in!
REWARDS STILL PENDING
At this point, while our main Essence book is being prepared for a print run, our supplements are all moving along behind the scenes. Our digital wallpaper and one of the novellas have gone to Exlated license holder Paradox for approval, so we should hopefully have those soon. Another novella is in layout. Really good progress on all of these rewards. I think we're going to have a few months of Essence celebrations later in the year.
To repeat last month's note, this isn't yet the call for order lockdown, outstanding payments, or shipping confirmation. But that's going to come in the next few months.
So, all of that being said, it's probably a good idea to ensure you've got your BackerKit page up to date with your order info, any payment info if needed to cover BackerKit Add Ons, and your shipping information.

It's Exalted Update Day, so I'm back with our regular month end update. Lots of bits and pieces moving forward, cogs and gears moving in this intricate machine.
EXALTED CONVENTION PANEL
Before I get to our reward status review, I wanted to share the video of the Exalted panel from the recent Onyx Path Virtual Convention. I had mentioned this in the last monthly update, but now you can check this out to see Elliott Freeman, Chazz Kellnet, Monica, Robert Vance, and Eric Minton discuss what's going on in the world of Exalted.
REWARDS STILL PENDING
The print schedule is currently being sorted for the standard and deluxe hardcovers, and I expect that to be on the calendar fairly soon. We'll still have some time once they've scheduled the print run to lock down payments and shipping information, so look for that in an update when the time comes.
Beyond that, many of our Stretch Goal projects are sliding forward, with the manuscript for the jumpstart (Pillars of Creation) now in approvals, the adventure scenario trilogy (Deeds Yet Undone) in editing, and our second novella (Scoundrelsong) in post-editing development.

As noted, the hardcovers (both standard and deluxe) are currently being set up at the printer and will ship later this year.
DIFFERENCES IN PoD FORMATS
So, for those backers who pledged at the PDF reward tier, or those backers who will later be receiving the hardcover book but might be looking for a second copy for the table, there are two different versions of Print-On-Demand options available.
Standard Color uses a thick 70# white paper which has better page opacity. (that's "70 pound" for reference, but does not mean each page weighs 70 lbs!). Standard Heavyweight Color uses inkjet technology. (These are not the same inkjet printers you have at home - these are often as big or bigger than a car!) This option offers lower cost but the colors won't be as sharp or bright as a Premium Color book.
Premium Color uses the same 70# paper, but uses "Digital Color Print Engine Technology," which sounds super fancy and certainly costs a lot more, but I'll admit to not knowing the exact difference. This option offers superior color quality but is more expensive to produce, and has gotten even more expensive over the past year.
(Remember to login to DriveThruRPG prior to clicking or pasting the discount link in your BackerKit digital rewards locker, if you that was part of your rewards list! That link is your coupon and must be usedfor your PoD order.)
