Today is Exalted Update Day, so it's time once again for our regular monthly status report. Let's get to it...
REWARDS STILL PENDING
Bits and pieces of progress. Our main reward is still in Indexing; it's a large book, so making sure all of the Page XX notations and important bits are lined up is important. The Storyteller Screen that we unlocked via Stretch Goal is finishing up in layout so that once the main book is done indexing, the print set-up can begin. Our first novella has entered layout, and the jumpstart has moved forward as well. Bit by bit, we're seeing the progress that will eventually lead to our rewards.

They Came from the RPG Anthology! is a little different than the previous entries in this series, and the clue’s in the title. This newest They Came From… isn’t another single genre piece, but a compilation of multiple genres, spanning the big screen, the small screen, the stage, and possibly even more besides!
Why “possibly”? Well, when our Kickstarter campaign launches, one of the first things you’ll likely read about is the polls we’ll be running throughout its duration. Every Monday another poll, and every poll adding a new genre to the book. They Came from the RPG Anthology! already includes:
They Came from Cowboy’s Gulch! (Westerns)
They Came from the Mean Streets! (Noir)
They Came from Bridgton Rectory! (Costume Dramas)
They Came from the Interstellar Starship! (Space Opera)
They Came from the Bard’s Quill! (Shakespearean Plays)
But we’ll be adding a further four chapters (at least) to this book from a selection of options you get to vote on!
That’s not all though. They Came From the RPG Anthology! provides two new system offerings for our loyal audiences:
The Quick Play System is a condensed, streamlined, and – as the name implies – quick system you can use for all your games of They Came From! So if you find the current system too complex for your games, you’ll enjoy this slimline version of character creation and the accompanying rules.
The Storypath Ultra System is the updated version of our existing Storypath System present in games such as They Came from Beneath the Sea!, Trinity Continuum, Scion, and Dystopia Rising: Evolution, and They Came From the RPG Anthology! is the first place you’ll find it in print! So if you’re interested in the future of Storypath, this is the campaign to back.
As always we’ll have a wide range of backer levels and an active comment section, so come on and join in!

We're in the final days of April, so time for our regular month end check in. No big news in this update - we had one of our rewards go out earlier this month,and there's some progress on our rewards, but just the usual for April. Let's dig in...
REWARDS STILL PENDING
Our main reward is in Indexing, now that your feedback is being incorporated into the text. The Adventure Trilogy PDF has moved into development, where the development team take the work of the various writers and ensure that the book is all told in one voice and consistent throughout. Work has been happening on the VTT Token pack in between other assignments. Bit by bit, moving forward.

BAG TIME! A Stretch Goal Reward Is Released

Hello Exalted Essentials,
I know it's just been a week since our month end project update, but I've got a Stretch Goal reward getting fulfilled this week. We're still a bit away from stuff like Pillars of Creation or our novella trio, but I've got one of our Stretch Goal celebrations that's now ready for our eager eyes.
After a lot of work with the Exalted team and IP owners, the NerdyKeppie.com site is now ready to unveil the Exalted Essence bags for sale!
Six different messenger bags, the perfect size to carry your upcoming Exalted: Essence book (and some dice and pencils and notebooks, and probably some non-gaming stuff too!)
These wouldn't even exist if not for your enthusiasm and support! You showed everyone the demand for Exalted is there... and NerdyKeppie was able to step up and get these made available on their store.
Thanks again for your support, thanks to the NerdyKeppie team for working on these messenger bags, and now to show off our Exalted excitement as we slide one more Stretch Goal from the pending chart to the delivered list! I'll be back for our April month end in three weeks! Until then...

March '23 Update - Monthly Check in

Hello Exalted Essentials,
We've come to the final week of March, which means lots of rainy days for me and also our regular month end check in. Last month, we had the excitement of our Backer PDF distribution; this month, we'll just have our regular progress report as everything inches forward.
REWARDS STILL PENDING
Now that you've provided your feedback, the development team is working on incorporating all of the errata and notes into finalizing the PDF for Exalted: Essence. Once that's done, it'll go to indexing (so all of the page references can be set and an index created), and then the book will begin prep for printing. Meanwhile, our stretch goal supplements have all moved forward, with our novellas all in editing, and the jumpstart and adventure trilogy finishing up final drafts with the writers before being handed over to the development team. Progress, bit by bit.

It's a big Update day today - the Onyx Path crew have received the green light on the Exalted: Essence PDF, and the Advance PDF can now go out to backers!

This is the first version of Exalted: Essence to be released. The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
With that in mind, I'd like to introduce the Exalted: EssenceFeedback Form!
Onyx Path will be launching a special Exalted: EssenceFeedback Form, which you will be able to access here: https://forms.gle/859JFmgg9zhn4ys96
This form isn't active quite yet - but will be soon!
They are aware of the Page XX notations - those are left in to replace for the final version once any changes you've suggested are made, so they can reference the correct page if any shifts in layout result.
Onyx Path will keep errata collection open for the next 2 weeks. Please submit your feedback as soon as possible so the team can get on to finalizing this file - and working on our print version as well!
They won't be collecting errata from other spots, just this specific form.
Please check that the Backer Name listed for you in the book matches your submission.
If there are any issues with your Backer Name as listed, please use the form to communicate the issue with the team. After the Feedback Form closes in two weeks, they won't be adjusting the Backer Name list any further, so please double check.
After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!), they will prepare an updated final PDF version of the book and you will receive a notice from DrivethruRPG that you can re-download your file with the latest version.
You've already made the book a reality with your Kickstarter support. Now you can make it even better by helping us crowdsource any minor errors and corrections.

Your feedback will be collected and implemented, and then the book will begin indexing and preparations for physical production. Pillars of Creation, the Campanion PDF, is in editing, the Adventure Scenario trilogy and the jumpstart (now called Tomb of Memory) are now in redlines, and two of our novellas have progressed along as well. Lots of good progress since last month, with the Backer PDF distribution being a big milestone.
